Here are a few useful programs I've written to help with common measurements in the lab. I hope to add more software as time permits.
The software below is offered as freeware for non-commercial use, and is not associated with or endorsed by Caltech.
4192A |
Impedance analysis software
This software controls the operation of an HP 4192A impedance analyzer via a supported GPIB controller. Typical applications include frequency sweeps to extract circuit model parameters or resolve unknown component parasitics. |
TDS Hardcopy |
Oscilloscope screen capture
This software acquires a screen capture on Tektronix TDS5XX, 6XX, and 7XX series oscilloscopes, via GPIB, allowing you to save the image to file. Ironically, the acquired image is called a "hardcopy." |
IV |
I-V software
This software controls the operation of a Keithley 23X or 24XX source meter unit, via a supported GPIB or RS232 adapter. Typical applications include characterization of diodes, solar cells, semiconductor contacts, conductors or dielectrics, batteries, LEDs, or other two-terminal electronic devices. |
